• Removing and milling a minimum of 2" of existing asphalt at the parking lot area, followed by preparation, backfilling, grading, compacting, resurfacing, and restoring existing bitumen asphalt.

• Extending the existing parking area, which involves removing vegetation, excavating, preparing and compacting subgrade, providing a 4" compacted base course, applying prime coat, intermediate course, and surface course, and creating a 3' thickened edge connection to existing asphalt.

• Applying fast-drying, 100% acrylic traffic paint for parking lot striping (standard stalls and markings in white, handicap stalls and stenciling in blue with white stenciling).

• Removing existing pre-cast concrete wheel stops and installing new ones.

• Removing existing concrete bollards and installing eight new 6" diameter steel pipe bollards filled with concrete, painted safety yellow.

• Removing vegetation and installing 4" minimum thick #57 stone/graded aggregate over geotextile fabric and compacted subgrade.

• Improving stormwater drainage through surface regrading and modifications to eliminate ponding.

• Removing existing damaged concrete sidewalk and pouring new concrete sidewalk.

• Replacing and raising existing RTR cable vault lids.

• Replacing the existing automatic gate operator with a new Hysecurity SlideDriver 30F UPS or approved equal.

• Removing existing light fixtures/poles and installing new commercial-grade LED lights and poles.

• The contractor must submit a schedule and work plan within fifteen (15) calendar days of contract award. Notice to Proceed (NTP) will not be issued until the schedule and phasing plan is approved.

• All work must comply with FAA Operational Risk Management (ORMP) requirements, OSHA CFR 29 Part 1926 and 1910, FAA EOSH, and Electrical Safety procedures.

• The facility must remain in full operation during the entire duration of the work, and site access for personnel must be maintained.

• Contractor must provide a project schedule and a plan illustrating work phasing to minimize impact on the facility.

• Contractor must maintain a clean site and remove temporary equipment.

• Contractor must locate and avoid underground site utilities and infrastructure, using hand digging within 3 feet of existing utilities.

• All debris and waste must be disposed of in accordance with local sanitary regulations.

• Contractor must coordinate mobilization and staging with local FAA facilities personnel.

• Contractor must provide sanitary conveniences and hand washing facilities.

• Contractor must provide Safey Data Sheets (SDS) for all materials.

• The contractor must warranty material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year or no less than the manufacturer's materials warranty from the date of final project acceptance.
