• Size Standard: 500 employees.

• The solicitation is set aside for Small Business (100%).

• Offerors must have an active entity registration in the System for Award Management (SAM).

• Quotes will undergo a preliminary pass/fail compliance check.

• Offerors are instructed not to contact the forest directly.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To procure aggregate hauling and chain spreading/unloading services for the FR 2109 and Corner Lake Pit projects.

• Furnish all materials, equipment, trucking, labor, supervision, transportation, and weight slips.

• Supply MDOT 23A gravel and 3” gravel.

• Haul and place MDOT 23A aggregate.

• Unload gravel using spreader chains on FR 2109 in designated locations.

• Unload MDOT 23A and 3” gravel in designated locations at the Corner Lake Pit.

• Deliver a minimum of 400 tons/day and a maximum of 600 tons/day.

• Deliver aggregate between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

• Provide weight slips for every load delivered, submitted to the Forest Service Representative at the end of each day.

• FR 2109: Approximately 17 miles North of US Highway 2/FH-13 intersection in Delta County.

• Corner Lake Pit: Approximately 17 miles North of US Highway 2/FH-13 intersection and approximately 2 miles east in Delta County.

• Contractor shall follow all Safety requirements on the Forest Service road system.

• Roads will remain open to the public during project activities.

• Contractor shall limit operations to defined construction limits and prevent damage to natural surroundings.

• Contractor shall restore any damaged areas at no additional expense to the Government.

• Forest Service will provide traffic control signage.
