Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide grit removal services at the USCG Yard, Baltimore, MD.

• Removal of up to 160 tons of non-hazardous grit, with an option for additional removal.

• Contractor must have the capability to remove 15 tons per day.

• Grit removal includes designated areas such as interior of enclosure, scaffolding, walkways, vessel deck, surrounding areas, and dust collector drums.

• All grit must be removed, including wet and compacted material.

• Grit to be stored in a Vacuum Box or similar temporary containment, or transported off-site daily.

• Final cleanup of scaffolding to a "broom swept" condition.

• Grit removal must meet commercially reasonable standards.

• Disposal must comply with all local, state, and federal standards and regulations.

• Written manifest/bill of lading required prior to removal.

• Weight tickets from certified commercial scales are required.

• "Broom swept" condition defined as free of all visible dirt, dust, and debris.

• Period of Performance: 3 consecutive weeks between 04/18/26 to 05/09/26.

• Location: USCG Yard, 2401 Hawkins Point Rd, Baltimore, MD 21226.

• Contractor must attend a Kickoff Meeting (or have it waived).

• Contractor responsible for locating primary & alternative disposal sites.

• Written notification required for any potential environmental violations.

• Government will provide material handling, water, compressed air, and electricity.

• Contractor must provide safety equipment and trucks (two required with 200 ft hose each).

• Contractor responsible for base access coordination for personnel.

• If suspected hazardous materials are encountered, work must cease, and POCs notified immediately.
