  • Handling of all grit conditions, including wet and compacted material.
  • Temporary storage in a Vacuum Box or daily off-site transportation of removed grit.
  • Proper transportation and disposal of grit at authorized Non-Hazardous Grit disposal sites, adhering to all local, state, and federal standards. Written manifests/bills of lading and weight tickets are required.
  • Final vacuum cleaning of designated areas to a "broom swept" condition.
  • Contractors must have the capability to remove 15 tons per day.
