This solicitation is for Ground Ambulance Services for the Washington DC VA Medical Center. The services are to be provided in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

• Provision of urgent, non-emergent Stretcher Transports, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) Tier 1, 2, and 3 ambulance services on an as-needed basis.

• Transport of patient luggage, medical records, medication, and comfort items at no additional cost.

• Contractor personnel must be courteous and conduct themselves in a businesslike manner.

• Specific qualifications for EMTs, CCTPs, and drivers are detailed, including valid driver's licenses, certifications, and background checks.

• Tuberculosis (TB) exposure control policy and testing are required.

• Ambulances must meet all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and safety standards.

• Contractor equipment and vehicles are subject to VA inspection.

• Use of VetRide or VA-approved transportation software is mandatory for all patient transports.
