Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive grounds maintenance and tree assessment services for U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Wiesbaden, covering Army Family Housing (AFH) and Operations and Maintenance Army (OMA) areas. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Grounds Maintenance: Mowing, trimming, turf replacement, fertilization, leaf and debris removal, tree/hedge/shrub planting, maintenance, irrigation, weed control, litter control, athletic field maintenance, erosion control, and emergency storm debris removal. Environmentally benign methods are required, prohibiting herbicides on pavements.
- Tree Assessment: Visual Tree Assessment (VTA), Resistograph, sonic tomography, tensile tests, massaria control, crown bracing inspection, post-weather inspection, new tree inspection, plant material rating, tree location improvement, STS system, and soil analysis. This includes maintaining an urban tree inventory.
