Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To maintain healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants, presenting a clean, neat, and professional appearance for the 99th Readiness Division (RD).

• Grounds maintenance services for areas identified in the site plan.

• Includes mowing, edging, trimming, spring and fall cleanup, weeding/planting bed maintenance, and pruning/trimming of trees and shrubs.

• Contractor is responsible for providing all necessary personnel, supplies, tools, and equipment.

• Services must meet commercial standards.

• Mowing: Grass cut to a height of 2-3 inches. Clippings removed within 4 hours. Grass cut approximately every 14 days or as directed.

• Edging: Completed once in spring and once in fall.

• Trimming: Performed monthly in Northern Region (April-November) and Southern Region (March-November).

• Weeding/Planting Bed Maintenance: Weeded once per month or approximately every 30 days.

• Pruning/Trimming: Visually prominent trees/shrubs/hedges/bushes pruned/trimmed twice per year (April and September).

• Quality Control: Contractor must maintain effective quality control.

• Quality Assurance: Government will evaluate performance based on a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan.

• Performance Requirements Summary (Exhibit 1) outlines specific objectives, standards, thresholds, and surveillance methods.

• Period of Performance: One base year and four twelve-month option periods.

• Commencement: Within 7 calendar days after notice of contract award.
