Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

The objective of this project is to replace a failing ClimaCool heat pump/chiller system at the Grand Teton National Park Headquarters Building.

• Direct Replacement: Procure and install three new ClimaCool heat pump modules to directly replace the existing ClimaCool model UCH070AHASAHB0S (Serial # P10421901, P10421902, and P10421903). Alternates may be considered.

• Demolition and Disposal: Remove and dispose of the existing heat pump and all associated components, including refrigerant, glycol, piping, and wiring, in accordance with EPA requirements and out of the park.

• Installation: Install new modules to connect with existing piping and floor plan. This includes all piping and electrical connections (208-230v 3ph), refrigerant, and water/glycol mixture for freeze protection and proper operation.

• Controls Integration: Update heat pump controls, including software, to ensure proper operation with the new modules and integration with the existing building automation system (Long Building Technologies).

• Performance Verification: Ensure new units match or exceed the existing heating/cooling capacity (tonnage). Verify compressor operation, pressures, superheat, subcool, water flow, and complete all required commissioning per manufacturer specifications.

• Compressors must operate at manufacturer-recommended pressure, superheat, and subcool.

• Water flow must meet manufacturer requirements.

• All commissioning must be completed per manufacturer requirements.

• Location: Moose, Wyoming, Grand Teton National Park.

• Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7 am to 5 pm Mountain Time.

• Deadline: All work must be completed before the heating season begins.

• Contractor Furnished Materials: The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and testing equipment unless otherwise specified.

• Government Furnished Materials: None will be supplied.

• Lodging: Contractor is responsible for all lodging.
