Quick Summary
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service (PBS) is conducting a Sources Sought for Construction Services in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana. This is market research to identify potential sources for a future multiple-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for repair and alteration services. Responses are due by May 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM CST.
Scope of Work
The GSA anticipates procuring services from multiple contractors to act as general contractors for small repair and alteration projects in federal buildings (NAICS 236220). This includes both interior space and exterior building envelope and grounds. Contractor roles may encompass design, demolition, abatement, and repair/alteration of various building components such as carpentry, drywall, insulation, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire/life/safety equipment, and specialized security equipment. Approximately half of the task orders are expected to be design-build procurements, requiring contractors to provide design services in addition to construction. Value-added services like recommendations and third-party coordination may also be required. Work will primarily be in federally owned facilities, with occasional tasks in privately owned leased facilities.
