Amendment / Modification

• This document serves as an amendment to cancel the solicitation (RFQ) due to Government priorities.

• The entire solicitation is affected as it is being cancelled.

• All proposal deadlines and submission requirements are nullified due to the cancellation of the solicitation.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the acquisition of stock appliances for the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order.

The solicitation requires the acquisition of the following appliances:

• Electric stove (30 inch, 5 burners) - Quantity: 5
• Washer/dryer tower - Quantity: 1
• Stackable washer/dryer - Quantity: 3
• Refrigerator (13 ft, Top Freezer) - Quantity: 5

Detailed specifications for each appliance are provided, including minimum warranty periods (3 years), dimensions, power requirements, features, and materials.

• Contract Type: Firm-fixed price purchase order.

• Period of Performance: Delivery is due by February 27, 2026.

• Pricing: Prices must be Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), including all labor, materials, overhead, profit, and transportation. Value Added Tax (VAT) is not included in CLIN rates but will be included on invoices; the government is exempt from VAT.

• Payment Terms: Net 30 days, processed via EFT.

• Quotations are due by January 13, 2026, by 17:00 hours.

• Offers must be submitted via email to GuatemalaBids@state.gov. Offers sent to other addresses may not be considered.

• Required submission documents include: SF-18 cover page, Section I Statement of Work, Section II Description, Warranty statement, Delivery Schedule, and Proof of SAM Registration.

• Email attachments should not exceed 10MB. Accepted file formats are .pdf, .tif, or .gif.

• Award will be made to the lowest priced, acceptable, responsible quoter.

• Evaluation will consider price, quoter acceptability (compliance with RFQ terms), and quoter responsibility (financial resources, ability to comply, integrity, organization, experience, equipment, and eligibility).

• Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to offer submission.

• Questions regarding the solicitation are due by December 26, 2025, by 17:00 hours, and should be emailed to AlburezAG@state.gov.

• Acknowledgment of receipt will be sent automatically upon successful bid submission. If no acknowledgment is received, notify AlburezAG@state.gov.

• Incomplete proposals will not be accepted. Proposals must be in English.
