Quick Summary

The National Park Service (NPS), Interior Region 2, South Atlantic Gulf, is seeking quotes for the rehousing and 100% inventory of the museum collection at Guilford Courthouse National Military Park. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside opportunity for a Firm-Fixed Price contract. Quotes are due by April 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST.

Scope of Work

The contractor will conduct a comprehensive two-phase project:

  • Phase 1: 100% Inventory – Physically inspect, verify, record location, condition, and item count for all GUCO museum collections, including objects on loan. This involves photographing objects flagged for rehousing or potential deaccession.
  • Phase 2: Rehousing and Reorganization – Rehouse identified objects according to the park's Collection Storage Plan (CSP), which may include basic cleaning and stabilization.

All work must adhere to NPS guidelines (411 DM and IPMD 114-60.3). Deliverables include an Excel spreadsheet of inventory data, a report of missing objects, and a Rehousing Report. The primary work location is Guilford Courthouse National Military Park, with required verification at several off-site locations.
