Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all resources for the rental and associated services for temporary above-ground fuel storage tanks. Key requirements include:
- Turnkey delivery and setup of temporary Above Ground Storage Tanks (ASTs) with a minimum 1000-gallon capacity each, including interconnections for expansion, for three existing Underground Storage Tank (UST) locations.
- Site preparation and fuel removal (approx. 7,500 gallons) from three existing USTs, followed by their cleaning and certification.
- Installation of necessary piping, conduit, cabling, isolation valves, and new insulation, ensuring no interference with future UST removal.
- Demobilization and removal of ASTs at lease termination, including fuel transfer to new USTs.
- Compliance with CT-DEEP regulations, VA Standard Operating Procedures, and all applicable local and national standards.
- Coordination with VA COR and other personnel for scheduling, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and Hot Work Permits.
