Quick Summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting a Sources Sought to identify Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBCs) capable of providing Annual Calibration Services for Biomedical Test Equipment at the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT. This effort ensures compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements and the safe, accurate use of medical devices. Purpose & Background

The George E. Wahlen VAMC requires this calibration contract to maintain compliance with TJC standards, which mandate certified test equipment for preventative maintenance inspections on medical devices. Scope of Work

The contractor shall provide comprehensive calibration services for a specified list of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), detailed in Table A of the Statement of Work. Services must include all required parts, system verification, alignment, and adjustments, provided at no additional cost beyond the agreed contract terms. If equipment on the list is replaced, the calibration requirement will transfer to the new item. All services must adhere to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) policies and procedures for preventative maintenance.
