The scope includes:

  • Testing of 1,050 smoke detectors, 123 heat detectors, 20 Simplex fire panels, monitor modules, relay modules, strobe lights, and speaker-strobes.
  • Maintenance of 6 wet and 11 dry sprinkler systems, and 3 kitchen hood systems.
  • All tests and inspections must adhere to the most recent edition of NFPA 72.
  • Services include semi-annual inspections, detailed reporting of system conditions and device status (pass/fail, voltage readings), and emergency services with a 4-hour response time and 24-hour repair completion for weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Contractor personnel must comply with VA premises rules, regulations, security policies, and undergo background checks.
