This effort requires on-site support to provide cable and network management. The cable management function is expected to be fully sustained by this contract. The network management functions are limited to providing technical and network engineering assistance to the existing government engineers and technicians. There are approximately 15,000 IT assets, 2,000 end users, and 400 network devices. The networks supported include Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secret Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (SIPRNet) (with some other variants to include REL-A, U.S. Battlefield Information collection and Exploitation Systems (USBICES), Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIX) etc.).
