Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide a "Turn-Key" solution for upgrading two existing Hanel Lean Lift Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs) at Shaw AFB, SC, including equipment setup, operational verification, and personnel training.

• Equipment Conversion: Upgrade two Hanel Lean Lift VLMs from MP Control (system V5.0) to the current MP 14N system.

• Controller Refit: Includes key panel in standard colors (grey/pearl grey) with current system card, Access Code Management, and Operations Journal Logging.

• Parts Replacement: Supply and install specified Hanel parts, including Safety Light Curtains, Extractor Chains, Drive Chains, Vertical Drive Motors, and Vertical Chains (QTY: 2 each).

• Installation: Turnkey installation of all specified materials on the two existing Hanel Lean-Lift units.

• Training: Provide training updates on the Lean-Lift units for personnel.

• All component replacements must be executed by Hanel factory-trained and certified technicians.

• A factory-trained Service Technician and a factory-trained Systems Integration Specialist must perform installation, configuration, data migration, and training updates.

• Upon completion, the contractor must schedule an inspection with the government to ensure the system is functioning correctly and equipment is installed professionally.

• Place of Performance: 20th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Shaw AFB, SC.

• Installation Hours: Monday through Friday, 08:00 to 17:00.

• Normal Operation Hours: Monday through Friday, 0700 to 1600 (excluding Federal holidays). Work outside normal hours may be required for mission situations.

• Setup Completion: Within 30 days of beginning work on-site.

• Personnel: Contractor must provide a contract manager with full authority and English language proficiency. Employees must comply with all facility safety and security regulations.

• Logistics: Contractor is responsible for providing necessary rental equipment (e.g., forklifts, scissor lifts).

• Tariffs: Estimated tariff of $11,118.08 is excluded from the total cost and will be waived if not applicable upon entry into the US.

• Security: Contractor-owned vehicles are subject to 100% security search. Personnel must comply with base traffic regulations and report security threats.

• Safety: Contractor is solely responsible for compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.

• Cleanup: Contractor must clear all debris, sanitize the work site, and ensure government property is protected from damage.

Sources Sought

This Sources Sought announcement is from the Air Combat Command, Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, to gather information regarding potential sources for an upgrade to existing Hanel Lean Lift Systems. This is not a Request for Quote, Proposal, or Invitation for Bid, and responses will not be considered offers or used for evaluation in a future solicitation.
