Purpose
This RFI aims to gather information from interested contractors to support NDU Libraries in the migration and full implementation of the Ex Libris Integrated Library System (ILS), specifically ALMA / PrimoV / Digital, and to enhance the organization, maintenance, and access to NDU's physical and digital collections.
Scope of Work
Contractors will provide subject matter expertise in library science and cataloging, including:
- Support for ILS migration from SirsiDynax Symphony to Ex Libris ALMA.
- Original cataloging in OCLC and maintenance of Ex Libris records.
- Adherence to metadata standards (e.g., MARC, ISO, Dublin Core).
- Authority control for physical and digital collections.
- Ongoing records management, metadata creation, data mining, and database cleanup.

Eligibility & Requirements
- Set-Aside: Information is requested only from GSA Schedule holders.
- Personnel Qualifications: Requires one professional, full-time Head Cataloger Librarian with a Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience (academic or special libraries preferred).
- Security: Contractor personnel will require background investigations and a National Agency Clearance.
