The Embassy of the United States in Madrid, is releasing a solicitation for health insurance services for Locally hired employees and retirees of the Embassy of the United States and their eligible family members in Spain. The estimated number of participants covered by this contract is four hundred and fifty (456). Please note these are only estimated quantities. The coverages shall be supplemental for those affiliated to the Spanish Social Security. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
The resultant contract will be a fixed price with economic price adjustment requirements type contract under which firm fixed price task orders will be issued. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussions.
A pre-quotation conference is planned, and the solicitation specifies the date for this event.
