This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is issued by the U.S. Air Force (423rd SCMS) for market research purposes to identify potential sources for "Spares Procurement" of a specific Heat Exchanger, Air.

This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is for market research to identify potential sources for the procurement of "Heat Exchanger, Air" (NSN: 1660-01-350-8209FW, P/N: 793303-2). The U.S. Air Force is seeking to determine if the effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) and no contract will be awarded based on this notice. No funds are available for the information solicited.

• The requirement is for the new manufacture of 10 units of the specified Heat Exchanger, Air.

• Potential sources must be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for procurement/manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping.

• Responsibilities may include supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production, managing long-lead time parts, addressing diminishing manufacturing sources, and shipping serviceable assets.

• This is a new spares buy and does not have a repair requirement.
