Instructors must possess a minimum of 500 hours of dual instruction in turbine tailwheel aircraft. The program requires a minimum student capacity of 2 students simultaneously, 4 per month, and 40 per year, with training available year-round.
Contract Details
- Type: Multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs), Firm Fixed Price.
- Period of Performance: Date of award until December 31, 2028.
- Set-Aside: Total Small Business Set-Aside (NAICS 611512, Size Standard $34,000,000.00).
- Place of Performance: If using USAF aircraft, training originates and concludes at Will Rogers Air National Guard Base, Oklahoma City, OK. If using contractor-owned aircraft, training originates and concludes within the United States.
- Aircraft Provision: USAF-owned 2-seat AT-802s can be provided, with the USAF responsible for maintenance and fueling. Alternatively, contractor-owned 2-seat AT-802s are preferred, with the contractor assuming full responsibility for aircraft support.
- Special Requirements: Vendors must have an active registration in SAM.gov, process invoicing via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), adhere to Operational Security (OPSEC) regarding military member information, and offer pricing at or below rates charged to their most favored customers. No single call under the BPA may exceed the simplified acquisition threshold.
