The coverage is for official activities within Panama, North, Central, and South America, including the Caribbean region (excluding Cuba).
Scope of Work
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive insurance for specific helicopter models (by serial number and registration), configured for up to 10 passengers and 2 pilots (standard 6 passengers, 1 crew chief, 2 pilots). Required insurance types include Seat, Group, and Personal Accident.
Key coverage requirements:
- Personal Accidents (Passenger/Crew): US $100,000.00 per person.
- Third Party Liability: US $10,000,000.00 per event.
- Accidental Medical Expense (Passenger/Crew): US $40,000.00 per person, in excess of $150 USD each and every loss (no deductible for personal accident).
- Named Insured: EMBAJADA DE LOS ESTADOS UNIDOS EN PANAMA.
- Performance Period: One year, from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027.
- Operational Details: Coverage for up to twelve (12) occupants per aircraft during loading/unloading and flights. Average annual flight hours per aircraft not to exceed 250.
Contract Details
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (RFQ), Solicitation Number 19PM0726Q0008, for a commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12.6. The contract will incorporate applicable FAR provisions and clauses effective through FAC 2026-01. The awarded company must be legally authorized to provide insurance services in the Republic of Panama and have Spanish-speaking support staff and offices in Panama.
