Purpose & Scope
This Sources Sought notice, issued by the Air Force Test Center's Installation Contracting Division, aims to determine the availability and technical capability of businesses to provide industrial-grade helium in modular cylinder packs. The requirement is for the 846th Test Squadron to support testing at the HHSTT. This is for informational purposes only and is not a request for quote or a solicitation.
Key Requirements / Deliverables
- Provide a minimum total of 73,332 cubic feet of industrial-grade helium with a purity of 95% or above.
- Helium must be supplied in modular packs, configured for either trailer-mounted or palletized/skidded handling.
- All equipment (trailers, pallets, cylinders, manifolds, valves) must be suitable for unprotected outdoor storage.
- Contractor must formally notify the Government of the connection type no later than 45 calendar days prior to the first scheduled delivery.
- Deliveries must comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations for Class 2.2 Non-Flammable Gases, including proper hazard placarding and labeling.
- Contractor shall provide a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) prior to or upon the first delivery.
Period & Place of Performance
- Delivery 1: On or before October 7, 2026.
- Delivery 2: On or before February 10, 2027.
- Pick-up and Return: Anticipated between November 2026 and March 2027.
- Place of Performance: 846 Test Squadron at Holloman AFB, NM, 88330.
