Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To procure and install a lockable, high-density file storage system for the Uintah and Ouray Agency's Minerals Branch to manage records securely and effectively.

• Delivery and installation of a complete high-density file storage system, including all necessary materials, hardware, and components.

• Removal of existing materials to accommodate the new system.

• Installation of leveling materials, base and rail components.

• Assembly of a lockable storage unit with a secure panel preventing unauthorized access.

• Trolley and locking mechanism for the unit.

• Assembly and testing of the system at a specified location (west wall, south corner of the Minerals office).

• Tapering of finish materials to the carpeted surface and wall attachment.

• Matching laminates to the existing Agency system.

• Provision of a rotary handle for unit movement and access.

• Provision of locks, keys, and necessary training.

• System must be mechanically assisted and capable of being moved with a maximum horizontal force of 5 pounds on the operating wheel.

• Drive system must prevent carriage whipping, binding, and excessive wheel/rail wear.

• Grouting tolerances for rails: maximum variation from true level within any module is 3/32 inch; between parallel rails is 1/16 inch; in height is 1/32 inch per 10 feet.

• Shimming tolerances for rails: maximum variation across all rails (up to 5 rails or 12 feet) is 3/8 inch; from rail to rail is 1/8 inch; in 12 feet of rail length is 1½ inch; in 2 feet of rail length (flatness) is 1/8 inch.

• Ramp slopes: ADA accessible ramps maximum 1:12 (4.76 degrees); other ramps maximum 9-degree slope (1.9:12).

• Vertical transition at ramp edge to floor maximum 1/8 inch.

• Location: Minerals office at U&O Agency, Ft. Duchesne, Utah.

• Installation to commence after finishing operations, including painting.

• Manufacturer must be ISO 9001 certified.

• Installer must be a manufacturer's authorized representative with at least 2 years of experience and guaranteed 24-hour service response time.

• Materials must meet or exceed established industry standards (e.g., ANSI, ASTM, AISC).

• Powder coat paint finish for fabricated metal components.

• Plastic laminate clad particle board for face panels with plastic edging.

• Written warranty for 5 years on materials and 1 year on workmanship.
