The new system must maximize storage capacity within a 19.5 ft x 48 ft footprint and adhere to specific technical requirements, including a minimum 405 lbs per shelf load capacity, mechanical-assist operation requiring no more than 1 lb of force to move 10,000 lbs, integrated LED lighting, and ADA-compliant safety features. Contract Details
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (FAR Subpart 12.6) under NAICS 337215 (Showcase, Partition, Shelving, and Locker Manufacturing, 500-employee size standard) and PSC 7125 (Cabinets, Lockers, Bins, and Shelving). The Total Small Business Set-Aside contract has a period of performance of 120 days from award. Funding is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds. The quote structure includes CLINs for equipment, installation/removal services, and freight/delivery.
Evaluation & Award
Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote represents the Lowest Price that meets all requirements as stated in the solicitation and the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO). Quotes will be reviewed for conformity to all minimum specifications, dimensions, safety parameters, and ADA requirements detailed in the SOO. Offerors must address all SOO specifications. The solicitation incorporates various FAR/DFARS clauses, including prohibitions on certain telecommunications equipment and requirements for electronic payment via Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF).
