Purpose & Scope
The 76th CMXG requires the delivery, installation, performance verification, and training for a new High-Pressure Air Compressor to replace an existing 50-year-old unit. The scope includes providing one (1) continuous duty High-Pressure Air Compressor (Typhoon Series, WP3100 or similar), its delivery, installation, connection to existing electrical and piping systems, startup, commissioning, and basic on-site training for operation and maintenance.
Key Requirements
The compressor must:
- Be rated for continuous duty.
- Provide a minimum of 110 SCFM free air supply at 750 to 1000 PSI, configurable to regulate at 750 PSI output.
- Operate using 460 VAC 3 phase 60 Hz electrical power.
- Be water-cooled and compatible with the existing chilled water system.
- Not exceed 60" wide x 108" long x 72" height and weigh less than 6,000 pounds.
- Have a controller capable of Modbus TCP communication, with a list of registers provided.
