Quick Summary

The United States Army Health Care Activity (USAHCA), Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO) is conducting market research via a Sources Sought / Request for Information (RFI) to identify sources capable of providing qualified and certified Athletic Trainers (ATs) for the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) System. These ATs will support designated units at the Brigade/Area Support Team (BDE/AST), Battalion (BN), or Company (CO) level. This RFI is for information gathering only and is not a solicitation. Responses are due March 10, 2026, by 12:00 PM Central Time.

Scope of Work

This requirement seeks ATs to provide forward Musculoskeletal (MSK) care, early medical intervention, Injury Risk Mitigation (IRM), and performance optimization services. ATs will be assigned to units and may work in various environments including fitness centers, administrative areas, outdoors, ranges, field training, drop zones, and Soldier Performance Readiness Centers (SPRCs). Medical treatment provided by ATs will be supervised by a privileged government healthcare provider, with primary oversight by a physician (MD/DO). ATs will be embedded within H2F Performance Teams at approximately 82 Brigades and 1 Area Support Team across 24 military installations, as detailed in Exhibit B. Travel within a 50-mile radius is expected, with potential short-duration travel (50-250 miles) for field training.
