Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide comprehensive cardiac monitoring services, including:
- 24-48 hour Holter monitoring services.
- Up to 30-day event monitoring services.
- Mobile Cardiac Telemetry Monitors.
- Software for downloading and processing monitor data, ensuring HIPAA compliance, security, and a less than 1-hour turnaround time from data ingest to processed information. Software updates that improve performance must be provided at no additional cost.
- Accessories such as adhesive leads, for approximately 250/150 patients per year.
- Interpretation of data with full reports, electronically posted for PIHC staff review within 1 hour of receipt.
Key Requirements & Performance Standards
Monitors must be capable of bidirectional communication with EMR (CPRS), store 100% of ECG data without loss, and support ECG analysis with a minimum of 3 leads (up to 6) using no more than 3 electrodes. All ECG data over the monitoring period must be analyzed, with results exported as XML or HL7. End of Study reports must be comprehensive, including heart rates, analyzed beats, pauses, arrhythmias (VE's, SVE's, A-Fib/Flutter), ST/QT analysis, and heart rate variability, with representative strips. Event reports require date/time stamps, reported symptoms, tracing, and preliminary interpretation. Equipment must be lightweight, simple to use, capable of storing up to 30 days of ECG data, include a wireless waterproof patch recorder, pacemaker pulse detection, and carry a minimum one-year warranty. All equipment must be U.S. FDA approved.
