Scope of Work

The requirement is for ten (10) 6" I.D. nominal x 6-1/2" O.D. "Layflat" water discharge hose assemblies, each 50 feet in length (+/- 12"). Key specifications include:

• Weight: 2.50 lbs maximum per foot (without end fittings).
• Pressure: 200 lbs working pressure; hydrostatically tested at 225 PSIG for 30 minutes.
• Temperature Rating: -40°F to 180°F.
• Material: SBR/EPDM rubber inner tube, high tensile tire cord plies (minimum four), EPDM rubber outer cover. Must be abrasion, oxidation, and moisture resistant. Texcel-Flo 4HD or equivalent.
• Fittings: Male heavy camlock (e.g., PT Coupling P/N 60EHD) on one end and female heavy duty camlock (e.g., PT Coupling P/N 60CHD) on the other. Fittings must be red brass alloy C84400 or equivalent, permanently/mechanically crimped with stainless steel ferrules.
• Accessories: Each assembly requires a cam and groove cap and plug (non-steel/aluminum, plastic acceptable) and a layline with MFG's name, contract number, and pressure rating.
• Delivery: Hoses must be palletized.
