Scope of Work
The requirement is for ten (10) new 2.5" X 50' Hose Assemblies designed for saltwater, freshwater, and oily waste. Key specifications include:
- Dimensions: 2.38" I.D. x 2.88" O.D.
- Pressure Ratings: Minimum working pressure 300 PSI, maximum 400 PSI, burst pressure 1400 PSI.
- Temperature: -40°F to 212°F.
- Construction: Synthetic rubber inner tube, textile inner braid, single wire braid reinforcement, outer textile braid with synthetic rubber cover. Resistant to weather, oil, solvents, and mild acids.
- Fittings: 2-1/2" Male Pipe (NPT 8 TPI) on each end, made of Red Brass Alloy (C84400, C90500, or C92200). Adapters include 2-1/2" Female NPT x Male Hose (NST/NH 7-1/2 TPI) with rocker lug and 2-1/2" Female NPT x 2-1/2" Female Hose Swivel (ball bearing) (NST/NH 7-1/2 TPI) with rocker lug. Fittings and hoses must be from the same manufacturer.
- Sealant: Loctite 562 Series (Teflon tape/plumbers putty not authorized).
- Certification: Supplier must provide written certification of hydrostatic testing at 285 PSIG for 30 minutes with zero leaks.
- Delivery: All items must be new and palletized.
