Scope of Work
This solicitation is for new, non-refurbished, non-used air service hose assemblies with specific technical requirements:
- Dimensions: 2.00" ID x 2.625" OD x 50' LENGTH (+/- 12"), minimum wall thickness 0.3125".
- Pressure: Minimum working pressure of 150 PSI.
- Construction: Synthetic rubber inner tube, reinforced with synthetic high strength textile yarn, and a synthetic rubber cover (red, mild acid and oil resistant).
- Fittings: Permanently attached, all brass and/or stainless steel, swage type x 2" male nominal pipe thread end fittings.
- Couplings: Hansen Quick Connect Coupling Part Number B16-T51 (Plug) and B16-S-51-SL (Socket), or equal, made of all brass and/or stainless steel.
- Safety: Dixon Style "W" Whipcheck safety cable, permanently attached.
- Markings: Minimum 1/2" high white indelible ink layline including manufacturer's name, working pressure, and requisition number.
- Testing: Each assembly must be hydrostatically tested to the minimum working pressure for 30 minutes with zero leakage, with written certification required.
- Packaging: Hoses must be palletized.
