Quick Summary

The USDA Forest Service is conducting a Sources Sought / Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified vendors for Hot Food Transportation Service for Wildland Fire Response. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside opportunity. The purpose is for planning only and is not a solicitation. Responses are due February 18, 2026.

Scope of Work

This RFI seeks to gain knowledge of potential sources capable of providing hot food transportation services for fire suppression, all-hazard incidents, and prescribed fire work. Services involve daily transport of breakfast and dinner to remote/spike camps where personnel cannot travel to the main camp. Key requirements include specialized vehicles with self-contained, thermostatically controlled hot food holding capabilities.
