Scope of Work

The contractor will provide continuous Neonatologist and NNP services for eligible military dependents and beneficiaries. This includes 24/7 NNP coverage with 13-hour shifts, and Neonatologist coverage involving 8.5-hour shifts, 4-hour weekend shifts, and on-call duties (15.5-hour weekdays, 20-hour weekends), alternating every other week with federal civilian providers. The MTF Director will privilege a maximum of 6 Neonatologists and 10 NNPs.

Key Requirements

Personnel must meet stringent qualifications: Neonatologists require board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and an NC license, while NNPs need 3 years of experience, NCC, NRP, PALS, and BLS certifications. Contractors must maintain malpractice insurance ($1M per incident, $3M total liability) for both non-personal (Neonatologist) and personal (NNP) services. All healthcare workers (HCWs) are subject to credentialing, privileging, and health requirements, including immunizations.
