The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is the element of the U.S. government with the primary responsibility for the safety of civil aviation. The FAA’s mission is to provide a safe, secure, and efficient National Aerospace System (NAS) as directed by Federal Statutes, Federal Aviation Regulations and FAA Orders. Within the FAA, the Federal Air Surgeon (FAS) and Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM) are issuing a request for information to support the Human Intervention Motivational Study (HIMS) program. The Contractor must provide support to the FAA Federal Air Surgeon in achieving its responsibilities for providing services in support of the Human Intervention Motivation Study (HIMS) Program. The Contractor must provide personnel, management, materials, facilities, equipment, supplies, and services to maintain the HIMS Program.
