Beach-compatible sand will be dredged from an offshore borrow area located about 10 nautical miles southwest of the project site. The scope also includes the extension of five existing stormwater outfalls. Additional work encompasses screening, MEC construction support, beach tilling, hardbottom surveying and monitoring, vibration monitoring, sea turtle trawl sweeping and relocation, and environmental and water quality monitoring.
