• Emergency Evacuation: Provide one-way transportation for up to 8,600 passengers from Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island (MCRDPI), SC, to Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany (MCLB), GA, during an actual hurricane evacuation. This service is required between March 1st and November 30th, with up to two evacuation trips per year.

Key Requirements include:

• Bus Specifications: Environmentally controlled buses capable of transporting a minimum of 50 passengers with luggage space and a functional restroom.
• Driver Qualifications: US legal residents, English-speaking, meeting DOT requirements, possessing valid licenses, and vetted through base security.
• Response Time: Within 24 hours for the initial 40 buses and 36 hours for the remaining 140 buses upon official evacuation notice.
• Quality Control: Contractor must develop and maintain an effective Quality Control Plan (QCP).
• Prohibition: Brokering or subcontracting to another carrier is strictly prohibited.
