**Sources Sought Announcement: Hydraulic Cylinder Fabrication and Repairs BPA**

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is conducting a sources sought to identify qualified vendors capable of providing hydraulic cylinder fabrication, rehabilitation, honing, and associated services. This effort aims to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for hydraulic cylinder fabrication and repair. The required services encompass a range of cylinder sizes and specifications, including fabrication of new cylinders and pistons, rehabilitation of existing cylinders, and honing services to restore cylinder bores to specified dimensions. Sizes range from 9" to 19" bore and lengths vary.

The BPA will cover a variety of contract line-item numbers (CLINs) including fabrication of new hydraulic cylinders, rehabilitation of existing cylinders, honing of cylinders, and fabrication of new pistons and piston rods. Work will be performed in accordance with provided specifications, reference drawings, and applicable industry standards. This includes material requirements, welding procedures (AWS D1.1/D1.1M, ASME BPVC SEC VIII D1, ASME BPVC SEC IX, ASME B31.1), and quality control measures, such as radiographic and magnetic particle inspection.

Interested vendors should demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in the fabrication of industrial hydraulic cylinders of similar size and function. Respondents must also be able to meet stringent quality requirements, provide detailed shop drawings and submittals, and comply with all applicable security and access control procedures for work performed at government facilities. The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cylinders/parts to the Pittsburgh Engineer Warehouse and Repair Shop (PEWARS).
