The U.S. Forest Service intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract to Frontier Precision Inc. for genetically appropriate plant material for the I-90 Snoqualmie Pass East Restoration Project. The requirement is for approximately 2,932 Western Swordferns in 1-gallon pots. This is a non-competitive acquisition under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1).

A solicitation will not be posted. The NAICS code is 115310 (Support Activities for Forestry) with a size standard of $114.5M.

This notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the Contracting Officer/Specialist by 10:00 AM Pacific Time on June 12, 2026. If no affirmative written responses are received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable. The Government will determine if the proposed requirement will be competed solely within its discretion.
