The requirement is for four (4) 2026 6x6 UTVs designed to enhance traction on sensitive landscapes, support heavy equipment, provide stability, and traverse wet/swampy conditions, including fire suppression support. Key specifications include a minimum 976cc V-twin engine (80 HP, 65 lb-ft torque), automatic CVT with engine braking, selectable 4WD/6WD, power steering, 16-gallon fuel capacity, 3-person bench seat, and a fully enclosed cab. Minimum capacities include 3,000 lbs towing and 1,500 lbs payload. Each UTV must include a factory or professional-grade installed winch (minimum 4,500 lb capacity) with synthetic rope and dash controls.

Trade-in Details
The solicitation requires the acceptance of two trade-in units:
- 2006 Kubota RTV900: VIN 57008, 2,619.4 hours, FWS Property #F392542. Known defect: left rear light cover missing. Features: hydraulic dump bed, sunshade, off-road tires, power-steering.
- 2011 Kubota RTV900XTG-A: VIN C3130, 780.5 hours (may be in use), FWS Property #F302109. Known defect: defective radiator, may require further diagnosis. Both units are located at 9981 Pacific Street, Prairie City, IA 50228. Bidders are recommended to inspect the trade-in units prior to final valuation. Offerors must provide the quoted value for the trade-ins and the final cost after applying these values.
