- Providing auto-approval for emergency department claims.
- Managing prior authorization for referrals.
Response Requirements

- Operational Aspects: Transition timelines, claims processing technology (adjudication, automation, paper vs. electronic, fraud/waste/abuse detection), claims reimbursement banking, contract financing, provider enrollment, clearing house integration, and customer/business support services.
- Technical Capabilities: Analytics and reporting, scalability, interoperability, provider and referral/authorization portals, data transmission and export, and development of technical/business documentation.
- Experience & Innovation: Prior government contract experience, federal government cloud environment experience, Authority to Operate (ATO) and Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA) experience, innovative business/technical enhancements, and the use of AI/ML tools for data analysis.
