Key Requirements for Purchaser

Purchasers must demonstrate the ability to comply with all local, state, and federal laws governing battery recycling. Export of these batteries outside the U.S. for reclamation is strictly prohibited. Bidders listing destinations outside the U.S. in their Statement of Intent (SOI) will be considered non-responsive. The purchaser must provide signed return copies of the Land Disposal Restriction (LDR) destination shipping document from all interim facilities and the end reclamation recycler within 30 days of shipment, and assign a shipping paperwork number to the LDR document at the time of removal.
