Purpose & Background

The IHS provides federal health services to American Indians and Alaska Natives, with the Great Plains Area Office serving approximately 130,000 Native Americans across North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa. The Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility (QNBMHCF) provides comprehensive medical care to tribal members on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation.

Objective

The objective is to procure the Schneider Electric Advantage Ultra Plan for UPS and/or PDUs service. This plan provides remedial repairs and one scheduled preventive maintenance service visit annually to the QNBMHCF. The Government is seeking a brand name or equal product that meets the required specifications, with vendors proposing an "equal" product needing to demonstrate how their offering meets or exceeds salient characteristics.

Scope of Work

The Schneider Electric Advantage Ultra Plan includes:

  • Remedial Repairs: Certified personnel dispatched for repairs, including parts, labor, travel, and priority access to spare parts.
  • Annual Preventive Maintenance Visit: A comprehensive visual, environmental, and electronic inspection of the UPS and/or PDU system to ensure performance to technical and environmental specifications. Includes all labor and travel expenses.
  • Response Time Options: Next-Business Day (standard), 4-hour 7x24, or 8-hour 7x24 response time upgrades.
  • General Requirements: Fixed cost, priority access to supply chain, on-site response flexibility, highly skilled field service representatives, technical support, site reports, and EcoStruxure IT Free access.
