• Preservation: Touch-up painting, blasting, and surface preparation for main ballast tanks, chain lockers, sumps, superstructure, underwater hulls, and stern planes, adhering to NAVSEA Standard Items and SUBMEPP standards. Personnel require SSPC C7, C12, and MPCAC C14 certifications; companies must be QP-1 certified.
• Non-SUBSAFE Structural Repair: Base metal build-up, structural member removal/replacement based on URO MRC 003 inspections, requiring specific weld and NDT procedures.
• Lead Bin Work: Repair, fabrication, conversion, de-ballasting, and re-ballasting of lead bins. Lead workers must be medically cleared, capable of handling 80 lbs, and qualified in various safety protocols.
• Trade Labor Support: Provision of qualified scaffolders, fire watch personnel, and touch-up painters, each with specific training and a minimum of two years verifiable experience on U.S. Navy platforms.

Contractors must support production starts within five working days of delivery order issuance and maintain an embedded project management team. They are responsible for providing all necessary equipment and supplies, while the Government will provide laydown areas, Hazmat/grit disposal, and other support. An acceptable Quality Management System (NAVSEA Standard Item 009-04) is required.
