Scope of Work

This acquisition requires the manufacture and delivery of Spongy Moth Traps with specific material, fabrication, color, printing, testing, and packaging requirements:

• Material: Traps must be fabricated from liquid packaging grade 1/2 gallon milk carton paperboard stock, 0.024 inch nominal thickness, polyethylene plastic-coated on both sides, capable of withstanding outdoor service for 90 calendar days.
• Fabrication: Adherence to specified dimensions, cutting, perforating, and pre-creasing as shown in an enclosed drawing, including specific hole sizes and placements for assembly, suspension, and rainwater drainage.
• Color & Printing: Exterior of trap body to be green; hood colored on both sides, resistant to fading for 60 days. Specific white legend and contract number must be imprinted.
• Testing & Approval: Requires submission of paperboard samples for inspection and approval within 14 days of award, followed by first article testing of 12 traps within 30 calendar days of paperboard sample approval.
• Packaging: Uniform boxes not exceeding 240 traps per box, sturdy for shipping and stacking, with pallet height not to exceed 48 inches.

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) supply contract.
• Period of Performance: Five (5) one-year ordering periods.
• Maximum Contract Value: $150,000.00.
• Minimum Order: The Government guarantees a minimum order of 18,000 milk carton traps at the time of award.
• Estimated Annual Quantity: 20,000 units per year across the five ordering periods.
• Delivery: F.O.B. Destination. Paperboard samples are due within 14 calendar days after delivery order award, with remaining contract items delivered within the stated manufacturing lead time plus seven (7) calendar days for shipping.
