Scope of Work
The SOW covers a wide array of equipment and control/monitoring systems, such as Air Compressors, HVAC units, CNC Machining Centers, Welders, Refrigeration Units, Grinders, and Lathes. For each specific project, the 309 MXSG will provide a detailed Statement of Work outlining requirements, specifications, drawings, and safety information.
Key Requirements & Procedures
Contractors must adhere to stringent procedures, including:
- Credentialing: Obtaining Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) cards and other necessary credentials for personnel. Procedures detail eligibility, issuance, scope limitations, and requirements for employee changes and training.
- Security: Compliance with various security protocols, including Controlled Area Badges (CABs), Operations Security (OPSEC), and Communications Security (COMSEC). Personal electronic device use is strictly controlled.
- Safety: Implementation of a comprehensive safety program plan, compliance with OSHA and Air Force Occupational Safety and Health Standards, and detailed mishap reporting.
- Performance Standards: Submission of quotes in a standardized format with detailed cost breakdowns and technical data. Contractors must provide status reports and final project reports, which may include fabrication drawings, source code, and O&M instructions. Onsite training may be required.
- Other: Maintenance of an effective quality control program, reporting of all labor hours via SAM.gov, strict rules regarding conflicts of interest, clear contractor identification, environmental compliance, and adherence to specified hours of operation (Mon-Fri, 0530-1600).
