Anticipated Scope of Work

The Government anticipates a future requirement for build-to-print mature products that have completed development and testing. The contractor will collaborate on:

Specific areas include:

  • Project Management: Comprehensive program management, manufacturing, data delivery, building standard products customized for shipboard configurations. Emphasis on disciplined program management, quality control, and financial stewardship.
  • Production: Produce, test, and deliver AN/T46 Battle Force Tactical Training (BFTT) suite, AN/T52 Advanced Training Domain (ATD) Training Interface Unit, and Virtual Tactical Bridge Shipboard Radio (VTB-SR) Equipment per Technical Data Packages.
  • Engineering: Provide comprehensive engineering and production support, including technical documentation, obsolescence management, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), trouble reports, and updating Government-Furnished TDPs. Engineering support is estimated to be less than 20% of total contract value.
  • Technical Support: Inventory, production, system lifecycle management, DMSMS plan, ILS data, and technical publications.
  • Warehousing: Estimated 8,000 sq ft, climate-controlled, secure facility for items up to 800 lbs and 84" height.

Key Technical Requirements

  • Build-to-Print: Alignment to Technical Data Packages (TDP), 365 days' time to build.
  • Testing: All systems must pass Government-furnished operational and functional tests.
  • Engineering Change Proposal: Support ECPs, drawing updates, and other functional areas.
