**INDUSTRY DAY NOTICE**
THIS INDUSTRY DAY IS SOLELY FOR INFORMATIONAL AND PLANNING PURPOSES AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in participating in the industry day. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
The Defense Logistics Agency, Aviation Division, in Huntsville, AL is in search of firms to act as a third-party logistics supplier for National Stock Numbers (NSNs) that are routinely purchased for sustainment of Army Aviation and Missile Command supported weapon systems and auxiliary equipment. A draft sample of the potential NSNs to be included in any final contract is attached. These components are necessary to ensure the combat readiness of US Military forces. The Government is contemplating 3-5 multiple award, firm-fixed price, IDIQ contracts. Based on initial market research, the Government anticipates a total small business set aside for this acquisition.
The Government is holding an in-person industry day for this procurement. Interested small business companies are invited to participate in this industry day event. The industry day will allow the Government to provide valuable information to industry regarding this acquisition, answer questions concerning the requirement, gather information to support the acquisition approach, and receive buy-in from industry. The agenda will consist of an overview of the scope of work, planned acquisition strategy, and a Question and Answer (Q&A) session.
Date and Time: 10 September 2019, 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time.
Location: The Industry Day will be held at Madison Public Library, Auditorium 2. The Madison Public Library is located at 142 Plaza BLVD., Madison, AL 35758.
Cost: Attendance is free and open to the public, however, pre-registration requirements are addressed below. The Government shall not reimburse any participant for costs associated with attending the event (travel, Per Diem, etc.).
Attendees: due to the small size of the auditorium, a maximum of 2 representatives from a company shall be allowed to attend the event. This is to ensure maximum industry participation. Participation is also limited to 30 companies and is on a first-come, first-served basis. The Government shall not hold or make reservations on behalf of any interested company.
NOTE: Virtual meeting platforms for this industry day shall not be used. This includes webinars, teleconference, call in numbers, facebook live, etc. this is an in-person industry day only.
Registration: Pre-registration is a requirement for this event.
