Scope of Work
The objective is to replace the aging and unreliable air compressor system in Building 65 at AFRL/RAVZ with a new, fully redundant, and reliable system. The scope includes:
- Providing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment for a turnkey replacement.
- Disconnecting, removing, and disposing of two existing air compressors and two dryers.
- Providing and installing two new oil-free rotary screw air compressors (minimum 400 CFM at 125 psig) and two new air dryers (minimum 490 CFM).
- Installing associated piping, electrical connections, and control systems.
- Ensuring at least one compressor remains operational throughout the project, minimizing downtime.
- Providing a master control system with automated lead/lag functionality and Modbus communication outputs.
- Conducting a phased installation to maintain continuous facility operations, with shutdowns not exceeding four hours and requiring government approval.
- Providing up to four hours of comprehensive training for government employees.
- Delivering O&M manuals and a fully commissioned system.
