The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southeast will sponsor an Industry Forum on May 11, 2016, from 1:30 PM EDT to 3:30 PM EDT, onboard Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville at the VP-30 Auditorium on Yorktown Avenue, Building 30. This conference is designed to collaborate with our industry partners who team with NAVFAC Southeast to provide the best facilities support contracting (FSC) and safety solutions to the Navy. The forum offers a chance to participate in a Question and Answer session with NAVFAC Southeast’s FSC leadership and provides information you need regarding the following upcoming NAVFAC Southeast FSC/ Base Operations Support (BOS) solicitations:
1) N69450-16-R-2111 for Regional Base Operations Support (RBOS) I Services at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, Florida; Bureau of Medicine and Surgery Jacksonville, Florida; Naval Station Mayport Jacksonville, Florida; Blount Island Command Jacksonville, Florida; and the outlying areas supported by these commands
2) N69450-16-R-2112 for BOS I Services at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia
3) N69450-16-R-2113 for BOS Services at NAS Pensacola, Florida
Innovative ideas, suggestions and methods discussed during the conference could potentially be amended into the performance specifications and solicitation structure for the above mentioned requirements.
Who Should Attend: Any contractors interested in facilities support contracting and subcontracting opportunities with NAVFAC Southeast, specifically regarding the follow-on RBOS I, Kings Bay BOS I, and Pensacola BOS contracts. Firms are limited to three representatives per company as space is limited. AMAG Form: In accordance with NAS Jacksonville security regulations, all prospective visitors and contractor personnel are hereby notified that in order to obtain a one-day visitor’s pass the person must complete an AMAG form and Form SECNAV 5512/1, both provided via attachment.
All visitors must electronically forward the AMAG form to Ms. Cari Fiebach at email address cari.fiebach@navy.mil and Ms. Nicole Wilhelm at email address nicole.wilhelm@navy.mil no later than May 4, 2016. **All visitors must bring with them, Form SECNAV 5512/1 on the day of the visit along with two (2) forms of identification as required.** Each person requesting a temporary pass may utilize Ms. Cari Fiebach and/or Ms. Nicole Wilhelm as the NAVFAC Southeast Government sponsor.
Only persons who have been sponsored can be issued a temporary pass. Personnel and vehicle one-day passes must be obtained at the Pass and ID Office on Yorktown Avenue, Building 9. It is imperative that all conference attendees adhere to this notice in order to avoid delays in accessing the base.
Also, be advised by this notice that the level of security at NAS Jacksonville may change at any time. As the level of security heightens, the amount of time required to gain access to the base also increases.
NAVFAC Southeast will compile an attendee list consisting of name, company, email address and phone number. The listing will be provided to all attendees after the Industry Forum is completed.
Participation in this Industry Forum is voluntary and in no way obligates the Government to award any contracts, or pay any costs associated with such participation.
