Scope of Work
The Government requires capabilities for the fabrication, inspection, testing, First Article Testing, ongoing Lot Acceptance Tests, and delivery of the M240 Series Machine Gun and spare parts according to the U.S. Government Technical Data Package. This includes:
- Production Capability: Experience in fabrication techniques (investment castings, steel forgings, machining, riveting, heat treating, protective finishes), facilities/equipment (testing ranges, physical security, DDS approval), valid Federal Firearms license, ITAR registration, ISO 9001:2008 (or equivalent) quality assurance, configuration management, weapon serialization (IUID), personnel experience, current monthly sustainable production rate, and lead time for First Article Test and monthly deliveries (ramping to 150/month, potentially 400/month).
- Training Support: Operator and Maintenance training for Foreign Military Sales customers, covering system capabilities, limitations, interfaces, operations, PMCS, diagnostics, and technical manuals, provided by qualified personnel and translators.
