Statement of Work (SOW)

• Base Period: April 16, 2026 – April 15, 2027 (12 months).

• Option Period 1: April 16, 2027 – April 15, 2028 (12 months).

• Work Location: JPATS Kansas City Office (1251 NW Briarcliff Parkway, Suite 300, Kansas City, MO 64116) and the JPATS Kansas City Operational Site (General Aviation, 880 Mexico City Ave, Kansas City, MO 64153).

• Work schedule is contingent on mission requirements, typically 2 days per week, 2-16 hours per day, Monday-Friday, with 24/7 availability for scheduled changes within two hours of notification.

• Qualifications: Paramedics must be U.S. Citizens, at least 21 years old, high school graduates, fluent in English, possess a valid state driver's license, be free from certain convictions, and have at least three years of verifiable experience as a certified Paramedic.

• Certifications: Must possess current NREMT certifications/licenses, and maintain current NREMT-P, CPR, AED, ACLS, and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications.

• Security/Background: All applicants must pass suitability and background investigations by the USMS (Tier 1 investigation). The Contractor must conduct preliminary background checks and bear the costs. No individual may perform work prior to authorization from the USMS Personnel Security Branch (PSB).

• Equipment: USMS will provide medical equipment and supplies. Contractor personnel must use Government-furnished equipment and are responsible for property control and liability for loss/damage.

• Dress Standards: Mandatory uniform standards include Khaki tactical trousers and a medium Green polo shirt, with black tactical footwear. Use of USMS/JPATS badges, seals, or logos is prohibited.

• Contractor Responsibilities: Provide all necessary resources, ensure personnel comply with USMS Directives, maintain confidentiality of prisoner information, and ensure Paramedics do not carry weapons on JPATS property/aircraft.

• Independence: Paramedic personnel are not Federal Government employees and are not entitled to federal benefits.

Amendment / Modification

Addendum to RFO Provision 52.212-1 - Instructions to Offerors:
